The Truth About Men
Mads, a TV writer nearing forty, and his girlfriend, Marie, decide to take the plunge and move in together. In a long housewarming speech, Marie reveals to all their friends and family that they are thinking of having a baby. Mads suddenly feels filled with doubt. Is this really what life is all about? Maybe he should rather try to find the lost love of his youth? Without any explanation, he decides to drop everything and launch headlong into a new project: writing a new script which will enable him to give meaning to his life. But once again, nothing goes according to plan. The Truth About Men is a delightful comedy on the meaning of commitment at the dawn of the 21st century and the reasons which motivate us to live in-between dreams and reality.
